For the humbleness and the truth

For the humbleness in people,
The greatest virtue of all
For their joy in the little and marvel in the small
For the ones who have not lost their passion
To strive for the better and strive for more
For all those who wonder, ‘coz wondering itself is the truth
For all the ones who do not hesitate to ask why
We forget to do the simple in the complexity
And get to the complex in the simplicity
For all the once who forsake oneself for a moment
For all the ones you have met coz meeting people is fun
For all stories they carry with them
Just to look in the eyes of the other,
To glance through the window of a seemingly bounded heart
For all the ones who are frightened to go to the streets
Knowing they will see someone begging for bread and for love
For how powerless they feel ‘coz
There is much out there to be done
But for all those same ones who know that really, I mean really,
The little you they do, a little is really worth much
‘Coz we forget that much is just a little bit more than little,
And little is indeed sometimes more than much
And the little you can do is no more than a heartbeat away
Coz there is always another heartbeat very close
For all the ones who bear in mind
That a second is worth living coz it’s a gift of some kind
For all the ones who do not like this kind of verses
And to the beauty of the things they like
‘Coz liking itself is the truth, coz that is who as humans we are
For all the ones who wonder coz wondering itself is the truth
‘Coz wondering makes you wonder
Why a Christmas morning comes
For all the ones for whom this matters
‘Coz mattering itself is the truth
For all the ones for whom Christmas day is special
And know that hope and salvation was born
And for all the ones for whom this is a holiday, or just a day
Coz just a day is itself the truth
Until wondering and liking and mattering don’t stop
For all, indeed for all,
The splendid story goes on with the little and much that we do.
